The Salt Line

The Salt Line

The Salt Line is an oyster focused seafood restaurant between Nationals Park and the Anacostia waterfront in Southeast Washington, DC. From its inception, the aim was to merge the historic fishing cultures of New England and the Mid-Atlantic. Equally important was the idea of creating something entirely new while paying homage to an industry that has sustained generations of Americans.

The visual identity ranges from classic and nautical, to cheeky and family-friendly. The details in the pointillism oyster shells draw inspiration from salt and sand while illustrations of sea monsters lurk in unexpected places. Accents of red are a nod to their neighbors, the Washington Nationals
