McGovern-Dole Leadership Award, presented by World Food Program USA, honors leaders who unite in a bipartisan effort to fight global hunger. Beginning with abstractions of an M and D, the initials overlap to form a bowl with food inside. In the spirit of the award, we brought together a ceramicist and a woodworker to fabricate both sides of the award and collaborate to fit them together.
